What is Equine Craniosacral Therapy?
Equine Craniosacral Therapy is a healing modality closely related to Osteopathy, with the primary focus of the work being the ‘core link’ of the body which encompasses the cranium (head) and pelvis  through the connection of the spinal cord and surrounding structures.

Practitioners work with extremely light hands on techniques, connecting and engaging with the Craniosacral system of the body. The practitioner also works with their own intention, partnering anatomical knowledge with the language of the body in a way which optimises freedom in motion and balance.

Specific issues which can be treated with Equine Craniosacral Therapy:
Headshaking, Fascial nerve paralysis, Cribbing, Sight issues, Headaches, TMJ / TMD (Temperomandibluar Join disfunction), Lumbar spine / Sacroilliac problems, Post opp recovery regime, Misalignment of the teeth, Lameness, Hock / Stifle issues, Shying / spookiness / difficult behaviour.

The Cranium, as robust as it may look, is actually an extremely sensitive mechanism. Cranial ‘sutures’ act as joints between articulating (touching) bones creating mobility in what we think would be static. I love to think of each bone having its own voice, its own reason for existing, and its own journey in the greater field of the body.
The Equine Craniosacral Practitioner is taught to look upon every part of the body as having its own dance, we observe and connect to this dance whilst working with its movement to bring harmony and balance where compensation has set in.

How does Craniosacral work within the horse world?
Domesticated horses, especially those in work, are regularly exposed to a variety of external influences which can cause the body to misalign. On a daily basis we see causes such as: ill-fitting tack, pull backs, improper feeding height, incorrect dentistry, falls, accidents in the trailer / lorry / field etc, injuries from contact during competition (Polo, Show Jumping and eventing are key players here).

The simple application of bit pressure on the mandible (jaw) has an impact on the rest of the body. In Craniosacral Work we honour the fact that all bodily structures are deeply connected. The relationship between each bone in the Cranium, between the Cranium and Pelvis, the ribs, diaphragm, sternum, spine, and the list goes on.

What this means is that when one part of the body is out of balance, there will be other conjoining parts which are also due to their compensatory relationship with the original trauma. In my work I have found that a lot of these imbalances are formed around the cranium.

Equine Craniosacral is a modality which deeply honours the horse's body on all levels. I have seen this hands on approach work wonders and it would be my honour to assist your horse to come into a place of more balance, comfort, and alignment.

What is Animal Communication?
Animal communication is an open doorway and bridge between species. It is an opportunity to hear / feel / see / sense / know what is being communicated in the space between, and a chance to recover the innate connection we all have with one another. At some level we can and always are communicating with the animals who come into our environment, and you can ensure they are communicating with us too!! For many people Animal Communication is a also a way of life.

Sometimes, to connect at a deeper level we need a helping hand, a bridge to cross to ensure we are hearing what is being shared. In this way, animal communication can bring us home to a different level of understanding and commitment to the animals in our lives and on the planet. Love speaks between all species and in my opinion, the collective intention to expand through love is what fuels the space of Animal communication at its core.

How we will work together:
Once you have chosen your preferred time / date you will send in 5 to 7 questions for me to ask and discuss with your animal.

The session itself will take around 60 minutes depending on what your animal would like to share and how much information they feel is relevant at that time for all involved.
Immediately after the session is complete you will receive a 20 – 40 minute (downloadable) recording in which I will go over what your animal has shared with us.

Please note: There is often a lot of information which comes through during the session. Some clients like to keep the recording for a few months to re-listen and go over the messages received. A few clients find that the communication ends up being relevant at a later stage in the year and they can use the information as preparation for what is to come.

A little bit about my journey:
After studying with James French in 2013 I began to practice animal communication as much as I could. However, it was in 2018 that I really stepped into my channel, thanks to my herd. I would sit out with them for hours writing down what they were sharing, opening more and more into the mystery of the animal realm. I felt I was part of a larger emerging picture which was now being realised because I was committed to listening and sharing their collective voice. I started to weave animal communication in with my Equine Craniosacral Therapy sessions which was a beautiful addition to being able to understand what the Horse needed at that time.

What I believe..
I believe all life has a tender voice, one waiting to be listened to from a place of presence and curiosity by us. Once heard, that overflowing force of creation can speak the array of truths which help to evolve its existence into a deeper state of connection and expansion.

What is the Tarot?
The Tarot is first and foremost a collective consciousness.
On the physical plane it is a deck consisting of 78 cards which are divided into two distinct sets: The Major and Minor Arcana. The word Arcana translates to ‘mystery’.

The Tarot has been worked with throughout Europe since the late 14th century. The name is said to originate from the popular Italian card game ‘Tarrochini.’

The Major Arcana display the archetypal transformations and phases which come upon us throughout our life. They are artistic, symbolic representations of the ‘personas’ we embody as we go through our different stages of evolution.
The Minor Arcana is split into four suits – swords, wands, pentacles, and cups. Each suit has its own unique message and helps us work on day to day occurrences to overcome issues or reach the next ‘big phase’ (Major Arcana).

Using the power of Divination to create a deeper and more balanced relationship between you and your Equine companion.

How we will work together:
All Tarot readings take place on your chosen date / time. Once you have booked in please send in 5-7 questions you would like me to ask the cards. The more specific the question, the better. After the session you will receive a 20-40 minute recording to download. Note. There is often a lot of information which comes through, the recording ensures you have this information for life and can re-access it at any time.

Sometimes in life we choose to seek guidance about something we already know the answer to deep down but we are looking for confirmation to help us see the truth.

Using the power of Divination to create a deeper and more balanced relationship between you and your Equine companion.

A bit about my journey:
I first met and studied the Tarot in early 2017. I learned from Ber Foley O'Mahony, trained with the original Rider Waite Tarot deck, and have worked with the same deck for the past 8 years.

I have a daily practice of working with the cards which allows me to deepen my connection to myself, my herd, and all beings I come into contact with. Learning the cards is a never ending journey, for they are a reflection of the human journey which in truth has no beginning or end. Every day a new opportunity through the cards is revealed for me to hear their voice from a different perspective, to understand them at a deeper level.

I absolutely love working alongside the cards to help horse guardians and the horses in their lives come into clarity and harmony. The Tarot readings are becoming one of my favourite offerings, for their depth and mystery as well as their discerning clarity.

dilara pataudi

"Dear Dilara came to visit my lovely herd, and particularly to meet Stan. Stan has been through a great deal in his life. As an Equine Healer myself, Stan has communicated with me some of his traumas. Dilara is the only one of a very select few, besides me, Stan has ever allowed to touch his scary side. He is a truly amazing pony and I love him so much.

Dilara picked up Stan's scary side very quickly and sent healing into it. Stan reacted by jumping on me! He really did not know what he was doing and it really was a reaction to a memory. Stan has a very stiff right shoulder, and walks like an old man. Within a few days of Dilaras visit, Stan was visibly less stiff and has gone from strength to strength. Dilara, if you ever have any doubt creeps into your head, about your ability or belief as a healer, remember that one single moment.
Thank you again from both of us."

-Lesley Wells

I knew he was going to trust her, as he doesn't generally let anyone near him in the field and Dilara very nearly caught him!
