Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 Nov 2026
This policy explains what personal information I collect when you use my website or work with me, why I need it, who I share it with, how long I keep it, and the rights you have over it. I take great care with what you share with me, especially the personal and heartfelt things you write before a session.
Who I am
I’m Dilara Pataudi, a sole trader based in the UK. I’m the “controller” of your personal information, which means I decide how it’s used and I’m responsible for looking after it.
- Address: Rectory Farm, East Chaldon Road, Winfrith Newburgh, Dorset, DT2 8DJ, UK
- Email: dpataudi@gmail.com
- ICO registration number: [ICO registration number]
What I collect
When you book a session or service:
- your name, email address and phone number
- your answers to the reflection questions (Your Sacred Truth)
- your questions for the herd (Channelled Message from The Herd)
- details about your horse, such as their name, age, health and behaviour, and for in-person CranioSacral sessions, where your horse is kept
- payment details, which Stripe handles. I never see or store your full card number.
When we work together:
- recordings of our Zoom sessions
- the follow-up notes I write for you, and the written or audio messages I create for you
- our emails and messages
When you join One Herd Voice: your name, email and payment details, and anything you choose to post, share or say in the community space or on recorded reflection calls.
When you sign up to my newsletter: your name and email address.
Sensitive information. Your reflection answers and questions may include details about your physical or mental health, or your spiritual or religious beliefs. The law calls this “special category” information and gives it extra protection. I only use it with your explicit consent, which you give when you book. You can withdraw that consent at any time, although I may then be unable to deliver your session.
Children. A child under 13 must be booked by a parent or guardian, and I’ll collect the parent or guardian’s details as well as the child’s.
Why I use it, and my legal reasons
UK data protection law (UK GDPR) says I must have a lawful reason for each use of your information.
| What I do | Legal reason |
| Take and manage your booking, prepare for and deliver your session or message, send your recording and notes | To carry out our contract |
| Use sensitive details from your reflection answers or questions | Your explicit consent |
| Record Your Sacred Truth sessions on Zoom | To carry out our contract (the recording is part of what you buy) |
| Run One Herd Voice, including the Circle community and recorded reflection calls | To carry out our contract |
| Take payment and keep financial records | Contract, and my legal obligations (tax law) |
| Send my newsletter | Your consent |
| Reply to your enquiries and keep my business running safely | My legitimate interests in running my business |
Who I share it with
I never sell your information. I only share it with the trusted services I use to run my work, and only as much as each one needs:
- Google (Gmail and Google Calendar): booking emails and calendar entries
- Zoom: online sessions and recordings
- Stripe: payments
- Circle: the One Herd Voice membership community
- Substack: my newsletter
- [Website host]: my website and booking form
I may also share information if the law requires it, or with a professional adviser such as an accountant, who must keep it confidential.
Some of these companies are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where that happens, your information is protected by approved safeguards, such as the UK–US Data Bridge or contracts approved by the UK government.
Embedded content and links
My website includes a podcast player from Transistor, and links to Amazon (for my books) and to my Circle community. When you play the podcast or follow one of those links, that company may collect information under its own privacy policy, which I encourage you to read.
How long I keep it

| Zoom session recordings | 30 days, then deleted automatically. Please download your copy within that time. |
| Booking details, reflection answers, herd questions, horse details, session notes and messages I create for you | 12 months after our last session or message, then deleted |
| Emails and calendar entries | 12 months after our last contact |
| Payment and financial records | 6 years, as tax law requires |
| One Herd Voice account and community data | Until 3 months after your access ends, unless you renew |
| One Herd Voice reflection-call recordings | For as long as One Herd Voice runs, as part of its archive |

Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information I hold about you
- ask me to correct anything that’s wrong
- ask me to delete your information
- ask me to limit how I use it, or object to how I use it
- ask for your information in a format you can take elsewhere
- withdraw your consent at any time, for example by unsubscribing from the newsletter
To use any of these rights, just email me at dpataudi@gmail.com. It’s free, and I’ll reply within one month. Sometimes I have to keep certain information, such as payment records for tax, and if so I’ll explain why.
If you appear on a One Herd Voice reflection-call recording and would like to be removed, let me know and I’ll edit you out where I reasonably can.
Keeping your information safe
I use secure, password-protected accounts with two-step sign-in, share your information only with the services listed above, and delete it when I no longer need it.
Concerns and complaints
If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, please tell me first and I’ll do my best to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I’ll update it here and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, I’ll let you know by email.
