Message from the Herd
The Judgement card is like the planet, the earth, the home we have chosen for now. Its energy reminds us to be both still and alert to the presence of universal energy. It also can show you that this universal energy is not a human but is in all life, therefore it is an expression of loving creation. That loving creation lives within, within your thoughts, body, and within your heart. It is important to relate to this card as though you were relating to nature. In awe, curiosity, surprise, with an unknowing approach. The natural world holds the keys within it to your freedom and in many ways that is what is card really represents. Freedom to be as you are, by showing all of who you are to the world around you. Part of awakening comes from the vulnerability to do just that, stepping boldly out before you to a place in your consciousness where you may never have journeys, this card asks you to do just that by also reminding yourself of the fact that you are being heralded to do so. All of life wants you to step out of any box or enclosure you’ve been held in by your own awarenesses. You are being called into being. The ‘judgment’ aspect of this card is about releasing the pinch point you have held against the world in any form, judgment can tend to crease energy, holding it in ‘place’ so to speak, in order for your awakening to come into being this energy must flow, for this to happen you must release any pinch points you’ve held ‘against’ anyone, anything, or yourself.
Reversed
Revered Judgement says slow down, stop, be still, be here, be now, don’t do, don’t think, don’t try just be here now. In the reversed position this card could also mean that you are not listening clearly to the divine ever-present voice inside you which is asking for a deeper sense of presence from you right now. Often when this card is reversed the answers you are seeks are also right around the corner. A lot of energy around this card is about letting life ‘be, so that you can recognise you being at the same time. Not ‘your’ being, but YOU being.
Message from Dilara
In the journey of the Major Arcana the Judgement card is penultimate card before we meet The World card at number XXI. At this stage of our path, we are reminded of the power of awakening at all levels. Judgement can symbolise divine intervention, mental / emotional / spiritual awakening, or revelation. This card invites us to wake up and embrace a ‘higher’ or ‘different’ state of consciousness from the one we have been living in. The figures shown in the card can represent the various aspects of our psyche or emotionality which are being brought into the light of divine awareness, the constellation of life which when internalised seems to split into many expressions in order to return to the one aspect of consciousness.
I sometimes feel that these figures can symbolise our inner children who, through being heard, assist us in our shift in consciousness. The Judgement card reminds us of the perspective of divine will, the sounds of realisation which stir in us, asking to be expressed. Because this card represents awakening it also calls and invites us to either make decisions or evaluate a set of options before us. Our choices are what allow us to shift our reality, therefore this card is a beacon of intuitive, divine, universal or ‘higher’ choice rather than the more cerebral energy which comes from the Justice card. When The Judgment card appears on your path, remember to stop – tune in – take a breath and connect to the divine emanation which lives inside you and all around you, offering you the perspective shift needed in your life for you to wake up and step into a different state of being. Because of this card’s numerical position in the deck, I feel as though it is that ‘final’ juncture point between where we have been and where we are going, aka the bridge linking our current state with our potential state.
Reversed
Judgment reversed can indicate the need for a deeper listening to what the universe is offering you. It asks us to step back, re-evaluate, be still, open up our hearts and minds to the possibility of a deeper way into what is before us. It could also indicate that you are blocking your awareness through making choices in a loop, or which keep you in a loop of a certain level of consciousness.
