◇ A message from Dilara ◇
As an archetypal figure the Magician represents the mystical, magical realms of possibility often associated with manifestation and creative potential. Many people have their own ideas of who or what the Magician is to them in their society and culture. From the Tarot’s perspective, this card’s numerical placement in the Major Arcana carries the codes of our first step out into the world on our journey of being Human. The Magician recognises that just by taking that first step we have gathered the tools we need to continue forward on the path. In the image of the Magician you will see a sword, chalice, coin (pentacle), and staff (wand) laid out on the table. These ‘magical instruments’ represent the 4 Minor Arcana suits. Each Minor Arcana suit represents an element.Water – Chalice, Earth – Coin, Air – Sword, Fire – Staff. Their presence is an assurance that the Magician is aware of all the tools in his/her toolbox to manifest the desires which flow through.
The Magician is the creative spark of independence which ‘knows’.
Knows how to evolve, knows how to lead, knows how to combine the infinite elements of life into the relevant potion required at that time. He or She also encourages us to utilise our willpower in creative ways, this is where the Magician brings us home to our hearts. This card’s energy invites us to remember that love is the highest manifesting force, that ‘divine will’ and ‘human will’ must be bridged in the heart to create from a place of truth and wisdom. The infinity symbol above the Magician’s head can be seen to symbolise an eternal bond to the divine, through the human journey we are able to ‘experience’ the Divine by utilising the tools available to us (which we are born with).
Bridging heaven and earth within the consciousness of the Heart.
Reversed:
Reversed the Magician can represent trickery, illusion, and deceit. Illuminating for us where we may be out of touch with reality. Perhaps we have used the tools we have to manipulate rather than create lovingly. The lesson here is to learn to bring awareness of our gifts into the forefront of our reality from a place of genuine, heartfelt, creative power.

◇ A message from the Herd ◇
The Magician is a way-shower. A dynamic, bridging essence of the forces which seem to live beyond. These forces you may call ‘divine’ are actually the foundations which create the human spirit-expression. The Magician revels in the integrated ego-self. Meaning, through the acknowledgment of one’s magic and the courage to create life through a conscious filter, manifestation becomes a breeze. He or she does not bother when it comes to effort. The magician is a reminder to us all that the cosmic forces are with us in abundance. The Magician can be seen as mystical, yes, however it is important when working with this card to remember that the most mystical force in all creation is loving presence and that without presence AND intention, magic will only occur through a filter. With it though, anything is possible.
An argument we could make here is that The Magician also reminds us of the Truth that magic, manifestation, creation, and divinity are inescapable aspects of the journey you call – your life. Thus, the conundrum is simple, The Magician represents the power to create, and the journey to loose that sense of awareness in order to remember what is true – which is that we are all infinitely supported by the divine force which lives and breathes all around us, within us, and ‘beyond’ us

What is the Tarot?
The Tarot is a powerful collective consciousness and tool for Divinatory purpose.
What this means is that the Tarot cards guide us into the centre of our intuition, they direct our focus through the pictorial and sensory journey we can take with them, into the focal point of what we need. Horses – in their devotion to presence – have the capacity to provide the same space for us.
Their message to me is always: Where there is one, there are many. The way forward is within.
Tarot invites us on a journey of self-discovery through the ever changing altar of archetypes and finer details, horses act as a reflective source of our awakening, eternally guiding us into a deeper level of witness consciousness.
Therefore, one tool provides support and space for the other.
The horses and the tarot dance together.
