– Message from the Herd –
The Star is an interim. She holds within her the key to evolution. Why? Because the evolution which arrives into the moment after the storm has quieted, sometimes human miss that moment, they slip past it and strive ahead. The Star is a calling to remind yourself of the true essence of nature, the nurturer. The bounty, the infinite, the splendour, for nature IS splendour, all those who are connected feel this. The Star is nature and nature is part of a greater constellation of love. Through this constellation of love, the wheel of nature’s embodiment expresses itself. Within your life there are many moments of The Star’s presence, it arrives each time you reach the zenith of stillness, whether that is at the end of an exhale, or the moments you choose to be still. This card reminds you all to be honest with your own nature. To nurture the abundance of your body, to travel in the direction which houses peace, and to revel in the calm after the storm. Create from that place. Do not search for the next revelation. Simply let the revelation be in the waters of your body, and the elements of your being. Connect to yourself through this grace and the ease of life will find you, nurtured. The importance of this card comes to you when you need it most, as all the cards do. Stand up for your own cosmic force within you, give to others from a place of nurtured alignment, represent life’s magical essence through honouring your own.
Reversed:
Intuiting the presence of life can mean stepping forward courageously into the unknown, this card reversed encourages the wisest souls to step INTO life from a place of deep surrender. Renewing the compass of intuition through ‘giving up’ the ‘known’. Transformation happens when the body allows the mind to be lead by it, sometimes the reversal of the direction we are moving in is required for the truth of the body to be heard at a deeper level.
-Message from Dilara-
The Star is a multi-facetted, multi-dimensional card within the Major Arcana. Following on from the chaos and disorder of The Tower at number 16 The Star brings with it a sense of renewal, nourishment, vulnerability in its power, spiritual advancement, and deep nurture. One of the many messages of the card is the embodiment of cosmic energy, this is an important message for the human species to carry and be aware of as we are one of the many physical channel of the spiritual realms.
The figure in the card is placed on both land and water, symbolising the balance and bridge between the unconscious, dreamlike realm and the grounded, physical, tangible nature of reality, he/she is able to traverse both worlds with ease. The Star is also intimately tied in with our natural rhythms as human beings, the natural, cyclical existence we have chosen to inhabit. Some occultists refer to The Star as having a connection to the Seven Sister stars of the Pleiadis. The naked figure can represent our absolute surrender to the forces of life which have thrown us into renewal, allowing both the terrestrial and the cosmic to move through us with grace. The Star invites us to be fully available to the divine, it is a card of joy through acknowledging the mystical. It reminds us of the infinite spiritual inspiration which lives beyond the mind, deep in the cells of the body where the cosmic, earthly worlds unite. Due to the esoteric nature of this card The Star can also bring us face to face with physical tools to help us connect with our intuition, numerology, astrology, divination etc etc.
Reversed:
Reversed The Star can represent a denial of spiritual engagement, depletion, a need for nurturing, feeling uninspired or a loss of inspiration. In the reversed position The Star can also remind us that there is more medicine to be revealed within the resting phase post The Tower. That within the pause, regeneration is absolutely vital.
-Meditation for The Star-
The Herd have advised and invited us to simply be with the image of The Star for this month, as the Eclipse energies roll across the planet, through out bodies, effecting our lives in seen and unseen ways. The Star in its nourishment, recognition of the body and the ethereal has a lot to give to us when we open to receive the bounty which is so often right in front of our faces, being offered up and brought forward by the divine within.
So for this month, rather than an audio, simply be with, rest with, and contemplate on the image of The Star. Breathe in its energy and allow whatever messages arise for you to move through your systems, physically and energetically nourishing you with perhaps a deeper, more alive sense of life than you had before.
